Marv Dargatz is the secretary of the PVICC.

A pioneer in the renewable energy industry, Marv has been in the renewable energy wind, solar, and stand-alone power system business for 25 years. From his early beginnings in the development of power measurement equipment for a major test equipment manufacturer, Marv graduated into inverter and system development for Trace Technologies, where he played a major role in the development of power inverters for wind, PV, battery, and hybrid power systems.  He has extensive regulatory compliance experience while consulting for a number of inverter manufacturers, and contributed to the UL1741 standard, which is the standard used for inverters, converters, controllers and interconnection system equipment for use with distributed energy resources.
